Hollow Core plank is a prestressed concrete system used primarily for commercial flooring and roof decks. Its main advantage is that it serves as a combined deck and ceiling system. Hollow core planks erect quickly to reduce on-site labor, and weigh less than similar decking units on the market, resulting in lower installation costs. It also offers a higher span-to-depth ratio which allows for greater design flexibility.
